A huge well done to all of our children and families who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge. Forty- six children from William Hildyard managed to complete the challenge of reading six books over the summer.

Published 23/05/19Everyone who attended the Family Bingo and Y6 Bake Off had a fun evening and which raised £415.56. The ever-popular Car Boot Sale raised an additional £386.95, so we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting our school events.

Published 16/05/19Over 180 entries were received for our Stained Glass Cross competition. It was very difficult to decide on a winner with so many fantastic designs to choose from. Eventually two winners were chosen, Rhyan in Year 6 and Olivia in Year 5. They have worked together to come up with a combined design, which is currently being made and will hang in our main Reception area.

Published 07/06/18We are aware that some of our children are playing Fortnite, a hugely popular XBox game. Parents should be aware that it is aimed at children of 12 or above and therefore not appropriate for children at our school. It also features voice and text chat which cannot be turned off; this puts children at risk of unrestricted communication with strangers.
