Admissions Consultation
William Hildyard C of E Primary and Nursery School is consulting on its proposed Admissions Arrangements for the 2028-2029 academic year.
As the school's admission authority, the Governing Body is required to consult on proposed changes to admissions arrangements and to review its policy periodically in accordance with the School Admissions Code. The consultation will run for a minimum of six weeks and all comments received will be carefully considered before the policy is formally determined.
Consultation Period: Wednesday 14th October 2026 to Wednesday 25th November 2026
Date Policy Will Be Determined: By 28 February 2027
What is proposed to change?
The principal proposed change is the introduction of a Supplementary Information Form (SIF), which families may complete if they wish to be considered under the faith-based criterion. Completion of the SIF would be optional and parents would still be required to submit their application through the Local Authority admissions process.
The policy also includes updates to statutory definitions and other wording to ensure consistency with current admissions legislation, the School Admissions Code and Lincolnshire admissions procedures. These changes are intended to improve clarity and accuracy and do not alter existing priorities.
